Welcome to Chi Alpha Mu! Chi Alpha Mu, which stands for Creative Adventures in Mathematics, is the National Junior Mathematics Club for middle schools. Founded in 1967, the organization was reactivated by Mu Alpha Theta in 2008 to promote enjoyment and understanding of mathematics by middle school students.
Chi Alpha Mu provides two types of grants to our chapters and students! Chapter grants can be used to pay for activities, and competition grants can be used to offset the cost of participating in a math competition.
Chi Alpha Mu also sells merchandise such as t-shirts, Chi wristlets, and more! Be sure to check out our new dark navy blue t-shirt, which features metallic silver lettering.
